Sophomore Lizzi Nagy (North Royalton) and freshman Kara Cannon (Reynoldsburg/Encore Academy) won events for Ohio Wesleyan at the OWU Open, hosted by Ohio Wesleyan on Friday at Gordon Field House.

The meet was not scored.

Nagy won the weight throw with a mark of 43-¼ and finished second in the shot put.

Cannon won the 200-meter dash in :28.85 and added a fifth-place finish in the 60-meter dash.

Other standouts for the Bishops included sophomore Jocelyn Weaver (Hudson), who was second in the weight throw and fourth in the shot put; sophomore Ava Klann (Dublin/Coffman), who finished second in the 60-meter hurdles; sophomore Ireland Nowak (Thousand Oaks, Calif.), who placed second in the triple jump; junior Gabby Stefanka (Marion/Elgin), who was third in the weight throw; sophomore Cameron Rogers (Glen Ellyn, Ill./Glenbard South), who was fourth in the 200-meter dash and the pole vault; sophomore Sammy Maglott (Fredericktown), who placed fourth in the mile run; sophomore Anna Court (Galion), who finished fifth in the weight throw and sixth in the shot put; and freshman Aubrey Dunham (Minerva), who was fifth in the 800-meter run.

Final Results
