On the other end, Williams got a hand on a 3-pointer by sophomore guard Lauren Denison (Pataskala/Watkins Memorial) and the Tigers cleared the rebound, leading to a Williams jumper that made it 61-56 with :55 to play.

Kalis hit a 3-pointer and Simpson added a lay-in as the Tigers scored the first 5 points of the third quarter to tie things up at 27, and it would remain a one-possession game until early in the fourth quarter, when Wittenberg broke a 36-36 tie with a 7-0 run that included a Kalis lay-in, a Yunker steal and lay-in, and a Kalis 3-point play.
