Senior Ari McPheters (Reynoldsburg/Bishop Hartley) and the Ohio Wesleyan 800-meter relay team of senior Julia Dickman (Marysville), senior Zoe Price (Bellefontaine), freshman Sarah Mazzei (Rocky River), and sophomore Addystin Lykins (Carey) won North Coast Athletic Conference titles during the second day of the NCAC championship meet, hosted by Wittenberg University on Saturday in Springfield.

Oberlin won the conference championship with 166½ points to 101 for Wooster and DePauw.  Ohio Wesleyan finished in fourth place with 93½ points, followed by Denison (79), Wittenberg (66), Allegheny (58), and Kenyon (37).

McPheters won the shot put with a throw of 41-5¾.  It was McPheters' second All-NCAC honor in the event, following a second-place finish in 2020.

The Bishop 800-meter relay team won its event in 1:45.01.  It marked the fifth straight NCAC indoor championship meet in which the Bishop 800 relay team emerged triumphant.  Price and Dickman helped the Bishops win in 2020, and Price helped the 2019 relay team take the crown.

All-NCAC recognition also went to junior Peyton Howell (Canton/GlenOak), who finished second in the high jump to win all-conference honors for the second time after a second in 2020; and Price, who placed third in the 60- and 200-meter dashes.  Price also finished fifth in the 60-meter hurdles.

Other standouts for the Bishops included Dickman, who finished fourth in the 60-meter dash and seventh in the 200-meter dash; sophomore Sarah Watson (Fremont/Ross), who tied for fifth in the high jump; senior Kylee McFarland (Granville), who was sixth in the 800-meter run; Lykins, who finished eighth in the 200-meter dash; senior Libby Norlander (Carlsbad, Calif./La Costa Canyon), who placed eighth in the mile run; and junior Madison Manns (Kenton/Bellefontaine Logan), who tied for eighth in the high jump.

The Ohio Wesleyan 1600-meter relay team of freshman Lia Sadd (Avon), Lykins, Price, and Dickman finished fourth.
