The Ohio Wesleyan women's indoor track & field team was tied for the No. 2 spot in NCAA Division III in this week's United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) event squad ranking for the high jump.
The event squad rankings are based on the average of the top 4 athletes in each event from each Division III program. The Ohio Wesleyan high jump contingent of junior Peyton Howell (Canton/GlenOak), sophomore Sarah Watson (Fremont/Ross), junior Madison Manns (Kenton/Bellefontaine Logan), and sophomore Ireland Nowak (Thousand Oaks, Calif.) compiled an average best jump of 5-2¼.
Howell, who is tied for No. 3 in the nation with a mark of 5-7¼, will represent Ohio Wesleyan at the NCAA Division III championship meet on Saturday in Winston-Salem, N.C.
