at Vertklasse Meeting

Junior Madison Manns (Kenton/Bellefontaine Logan) posted Ohio Wesleyan's best individual finish during the first day of the Vertklasse Meeting, hosted by High Point University on Friday in High Point, N.C.

The meet was not scored.

Manns tied for 12th in the high jump "B" division with a mark of 4-9½.

Other standouts for the Bishops included senior Ari McPheters (Reynoldsburg/Bishop Hartley), who finished 14th in the Elite division of the shot put with a mark of 39-¼; sophomore Annika Green (Granville), who tied for 15th in the pole vault "B" division by clearing 10-0; and junior Jordan Holton (Chelsea, Mich.), who placed 19th in the javelin with a throw of 95-5.

The VertKlasse Meeting is scheduled to conclude on Saturday.
