Sophomore Antonio Sonego (Medina), junior Levi Kilian (Ault, Colo./Heritage Christian Academy), and junior Ethan Bradt (Berea/Berea-Midpark) won events for Ohio Wesleyan at the Big Red Invitational, hosted by Denison University on Friday in Granville.

The meet was not scored.

Sonego won the discus with a throw of 131-2.

Kilian won the 400-meter dash in :51.36.

Bradt won the 3000-meter run in 8:53.12.

Other standouts for the Bishops included freshman Trey Theobald (Archbold), who was second in the javelin and fourth in the 200-meter dash; senior Christian DeWiggins (Marysville), who finished second in the hammer; freshman Charley Morris (Denver, Colo./Denver School of the Arts), who was second in the 400-meter dash; freshman Mason Myers (Perrysburg/Hillsdale), who placed third in the triple jump and eighth in the long jump; freshman Wes Horton (Columbus/Thomas Worthington), who finished third in the 800-meter run; junior Zach Murrey (Logan), who placed third in the 200-meter dash; senior Jayden Byfield-Ramirez (Washington, D.C./Wilson), who was fourth in the hammer and eighth in the shot put; senior VaShawn Walker (Columbus/Bishop Hartley), who placed fourth in the shot put; junior Clay Sturts (Lexington), who finished fourth in the javelin; freshman Simon Leck (Toledo/St. Francis DeSales), who was fourth in the 400-meter dash; freshman Coleman Kegler (Columbus/Upper Arlington), who placed fifth in the javelin; freshman Preston Pethtel (Heath), who was fifth in the 1500-meter run; freshman Blake Johnson (Centerburg), who placed fifth in the 3000-meter run; freshman Trey Good (Marysville/Fairbanks), who finished sixth in the high jump and eighth in the 200-meter dash; junior Alex Reidell (Centerville), who was sixth in the hammer; sophomore Evan Miller (Wooster), who finished sixth in the 800-meter run; and freshman Andrew Williamson (Heath), who was sixth in the 3000-meter run.

The Bishop 1600-meter relay team of Sturts, Horton, Pethtel, and Miller finished second.
