Ohio Wesleyan University has made an addition and some promotions to the Battling Bishop coaching staff, it was announced by athletics director Doug Zipp.

Josh Dillard has been named an assistant football coach, while assistant football coach Ted Houlihan and assistant women's soccer coach James Wendling have been promoted to full-time status.

Dillard will coach the Bishop running backs.  He comes to Ohio Wesleyan from Ohio Dominican University, where he spent 3 seasons, most recently coaching linebackers.  During his first 2 seasons with the Panthers, Dillard was an offensive line assistant.  He is a 2019 graduate of Urbana University, majoring in sports management.

Houlihan is completing his second year on the Ohio Wesleyan coaching staff.  He will coach the Bishop defensive line after working with the tight ends during the 2020-21 and 2021 seasons.

Wendling is completing his first year on the Ohio Wesleyan staff.  Last fall, he helped the Bishop women's soccer team compile a 9-5-4 record in 2021, Ohio Wesleyan's first winning season since 2011.
