6th of 6 at NCAC championship
Senior Grace Rudolph (Centerville) led Ohio Wesleyan at the North Coast Athletic Conference championship tournament, hosted by Wittenberg University on Sunday at Westbrook Country Club in Mansfield, Ohio.
Denison won the conference championship with a 54-hole total of 978, finishing 79 shots ahead of DePauw. Wooster finished third with a 1098, followed by Allegheny (1100), Wittenberg (1146), and Ohio Wesleyan (1460).
Denison's Sophia Alexander won medalist honors with a total of 238, defeating Big Red teammate Laine Hursh by 6 shots.
Rudolph finished in 25th place among individuals with a 329.
Sophomore Amanda Momany (Toledo/St. Ursula Academy) was 26th with a 332, sophomore Elizabeth Homan (Cincinnati/Anderson) finished 28th at 364, and senior Katie Grodhaus (Dublin/Jerome) was 29th at 435.
