at Mount Union Last Chance Meet

Freshman Wes Horton (Columbus/Thomas Worthington) recorded Ohio Wesleyan's best individual finish at the Mount Union Last Chance meet, hosted by the University of Mount Union on Wednesday and Thursday in Alliance.

The meet was not scored.

Horton finished fourth in the 800-meter run in 1:56.82.

Other standouts for the Bishops included junior Jacob Bauer (Hilliard/Davidson), who was eighth in the 400-meter dash in :50.34; senior VaShawn Walker (Columbus/Bishop Hartley), who placed ninth in the hammer with a throw of 150-1; and senior Jayden Byfield-Ramirez (Washington, D.C./Wilson), who finished 10th in the hammer with a throw of 141-6 and 11th in the discus with a mark of 122-2.
