Koek capped her Ohio Wesleyan field hockey career with third-team All-America honors from Synapse Sports, a selection to the National Field Hockey Coaches Association Division III Senior Team, and first-team all-region recognition.  She was named the North Coast Athletic Conference's Offensive Player of the Year and was a first-team All-NCAC selection, and was the Most Valuable Player of the 2021 NCAC tournament.  Koek was a first-team all-region and All-NCAC choice in 2019 and a second-team all-region and All-NCAC pick in 2018.  This spring, Koek received Ohio Wesleyan's Presidential Award, recognizing the University's top athlete and person.  The top honor awarded by the Ohio Wesleyan athletics department, the Presidential Award is based on athletics ability and achievement, academic excellence, character, leadership, activities, and inspiration.  Koek also was an Ohio Wesleyan Top 10 Award recipient as voted upon by the Ohio Wesleyan Athletics Council and based upon the student-athlete's impact upon their family, their team, the University and the Delaware community.  Koek majored in nutrition.

Rooted in Title IX, the NCAA Woman of the Year Award was established in 1991 to recognize graduating female student-athletes who have exhausted their eligibility and distinguished themselves in academics, athletics, service, and leadership throughout their collegiate careers.

Member schools are encouraged to honor their top graduating female college athletes each year by submitting their names for consideration for the Woman of the Year Award. Schools can recognize 2 nominees if at least one is a woman of color or international student-athlete.

NCAA member schools nominated 577 female college athletes for the 2022 NCAA Woman of the Year Award.  The nominees represent all 3 NCAA divisions, including 248 nominees from Division I, 127 from Division II and 202 from Division III.  Multi-sport student-athletes accounted for 125 of the nominees, including 78 2-sport student-athletes, 46 3-sport student-athletes, and one 4-sport student-athlete.
