Ohio Wesleyan University junior Levi Kilian (Ault, Colo./Heritage Christian Academy) and the Battling Bishop men's track & field team received All-Academic honors from the United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association, it was announced by the USTFCCCA.
Kilian received All-Academic recognition for the second consecutive year.
To qualify for USTFCCCA All-Academic honors, a student-athlete must have compiled a cumulative GPA of 3.30 and must have either finished the regular season ranked in the national top 50 in an individual event or ranked in the national top 35 in a relay event on the national descending order list, or competed in an NCAA indoor or outdoor championship. More than 500 student-athletes from NCAA Division III institutions were named All-Academic.
The Ohio Wesleyan men's track & field team also was honored by the USTFCCCA, receiving All-Academic Team recognition. The Battling Bishops were one of more than 150 Division III men's track & field teams to receive All-Academic Team honors for the 2021-22 academic year. In order to receive All-Academic Team recognition, a team must have a cumulative grade-point average of 3.1 or better for the academic year.
