Bishops' Graham Receives NCAA Postgraduate Scholarship

Ohio Wesleyan University graduate Davis Graham has been awarded an NCAA Postgraduate Scholarship, it was announced by the NCAA.

The NCAA awarded 42 postgraduate scholarships of $10,000 each to 21 men and 21 women student-athletes who participated in spring sports. In addition to the spring sport honorees, the NCAA also awards 84 postgraduate scholarships to student-athletes participating in fall and winter sports in which the NCAA conducts championships or participates in as an emerging sport, for a total of 126 postgraduate scholarships annually.

To qualify for an NCAA postgraduate scholarship, a student-athlete must be in their final season of NCAA eligibility or have completed their athletic eligibility, must be in their final year of undergraduate work or have received an undergraduate degree, have an overall grade-point average of 3.200 (on a 4.000 scale) or its equivalent, and have performed with distinction as a varsity team member in the sport in which the student-athlete was nominated.  The student-athlete also must enroll in a graduate degree granting program on a part- or full-time basis at an academically accredited graduate or degree-granting professional school, must be enrolled in a graduate degree granting program within one year after the academic year the scholarship was awarded, and must be an outstanding citizen and excellent role model for the institution and intercollegiate athletics.

Graham was an All-North Coast Athletic Conference selection as an outfielder on the Ohio Wesleyan baseball team and led the Bishops in batting in 2021.
