Ohio Wesleyan 42, Wilmington 9

Senior Alex Boukheir (Dublin/Jerome), junior Tyler Bodovetz (Streetsboro), and sophomore Othman Taha (Dublin/Jerome) opened the meet with pins to start Ohio Wesleyan on its way to a win over Wilmington in a dual meet on Friday at Branch Rickey Arena.

Boukheir opened the meet with a pin of Xander Ruth in 5:44 at 157 pounds.

Bodovetz followed by pinning Garrett Simmons in 1:52 at 165.

Taha increased the Bishop lead to 18-0 with a pin of Aaron Pardo in 3:12 at 174.

After senior Des Perry (Garnet Valley, Pa.) and junior Geoffrey Kaminski (Lewis Center/Olentangy Orange) recorded forfeit wins, sophomore Joe Shoup (Ashland/Mapleton) posted Ohio Wesleyan's fourth pin of the evening, defeating Tim Lewellen in 1:06 at 285 pounds.

At 133, freshman Robert Ross (Boston, Mass./Needham) won by forfeit.

Wilmington's Michael Louison won by injury default over sophomore Jimmy Baumann (Dublin/Coffman) at 141, and the Quakers' Dylan Hurst outpointed sophomore Gabe Bulugaris (Lewis Center/Olentangy), 7-4, at 141.

In exhibition bouts, freshman Bobby Dadabo (Hamilton) scored a 15-2 major decision over Ruth at 157, freshman Andrew Mushkin (Phoenix, Ariz./Corona del Sol) notched an 8-1 decision over Cooper Rack at 165, and senior Tommy Brunty (Barberton) pinned Simmons in :47 at 165.
