Freshman Andrew Bentz (Marysville) won an event to lead Ohio Wesleyan at the OWU Open, hosted by Ohio Wesleyan on Friday at Gordon Field House.
Waynesburg won the meet with 139 points to 91 for Ohio Wesleyan and Miami Running Club. Denison finished fourth with 14 points and Ohio State Running Club scored 10 points.
Bentz won the shot put with a throw of 44-4¼.
Other standouts for the Bishops included senior Wyatt Wells (Marion/Pleasant), who was second in the pole vault; freshman Jake Marzulli (Medina), who was third in the 200-meter dash; freshman Griffin Sawyer (Rocky River), who was third in the pole vault; senior Clay Sturts (Lexington), who was third in the long jump; junior Antonio Sonego (Medina), who was third in the weight throw; junior Dylan Liggett (Medina/Highland), who was fourth in the 60-meter dash; senior Jayden Byfield-Ramirez (Washington, D.C./Wilson), who was fourth in the shot put; freshman Xavier Platt (Fredericktown), who was fifth in the 400-meter dash; sophomore Andrew Williamson (Heath), who was fifth in the 800-meter run; and sophomore Blake Johnson (Centerburg), who was fifth in the mile run.
