2nd of 4 at OWU Open

Freshman Hazel Jolliff (Cardington/Cardington-Lincoln) and junior Ava Klann (Dublin/Coffman) won events for Ohio Wesleyan at the OWU Open, hosted by Ohio Wesleyan on Friday at Gordon Field House.

Waynesburg won the meet with 109 points to 94 for Ohio Wesleyan.  Miami Running Club was third with 48 points and Denison scored 42 points.

Klann won the high jump with a mark of 4-7 and was second in the 60-meter hurdles.

Jolliff won the long jump with a leap of 14-10 and was third in the 60-meter hurdles and fourth in the high jump.

Other standouts for the Bishops included junior Jocelyn Weaver (Hudson), who was third in the high jump and fourth in the 60-meter hurdles and the shot put; freshman Coral Pierson (Powell/Olentangy Liberty), who was third in the 60-meter dash; freshman Emma Hall (Ironton), who was fourth in the weight throw; and sophomore Lia Sadd (Avon), who was fifth in the shot put.
