Sophomore Brady Hunt (Maineville/Cincinnati Hills Christian Academy) scored to tie the game at 8 midway through the fourth quarter, but St. Vincent tallied the final 3 goals of the game to take a non-conference win over Ohio Wesleyan on Saturday at Selby Stadium.

The game was tied at 7 heading into the final period, but Jordan Billet's goal gave the Bearcats an 8-7 lead before Hunt scored off a feed from freshman midfielder Garrett Smith (Fishers, Ind./Hamilton Southeastern) with 6:53 left in regulation time.

Jacob Visalli scored to give the visitors the lead with 5:48 left, and St. Vincent added goals from Matthew Cassidy and Caleb Hawkins to close out the day's scoring.

Sophomore attacker Carson Geier (Milford) put Ohio Wesleyan ahead in the opening minutes of the game, but St. Vincent answered with a score from R.J. Kenna 29 seconds later, kicking off a 3-0 run for the Bearcats.

Sophomore defenseman Wes Silver (Newton, Mass./North) scored just :12 into the second quarter to bring the Bishops within 3-2, but Hawkins had back-to-back goals for a 5-2 St. Vincent lead.

Shaw beat the first-half horn with a score and Smith opened the third-quarter scoring as Ohio Wesleyan closed to 5-4, but Visalli responded with consecutive scores to restore the 3-goal margin at 7-4.

The Bishops reeled off 3 straight goals to end the third quarter, with Hunt starting the run before sophomore defenseman Aidan Ross (Loveland/Cincinnati Moeller) and sophomore midfielder Joey Wiseman (Powell/Olentangy Liberty) scored during the final minute of the period to tie the game at 7.

Hunt led the Bishops with 2 goals.  Senior George Whitney (Marion, Mass./Tabor Academy) had 3 saves during the first half and senior Carl Mazabras (New Canaan, Conn.) stopped 4 shots during the second half.
