Freshman Chinedu Melenu (Bowie, Md.) recorded Ohio Wesleyan's best individual finish at the Wittenberg Invitational, hosted by Wittenberg University on Saturday in Springfield.

The meet was not scored.

Melenu placed fifth in the triple jump.

Other standouts for the Bishops included senior Jacob Bauer (Hilliard/Davidson), who finished sixth in the 400-meter dash.

The Ohio Wesleyan 1600-meter relay team of senior Zach Murrey (Logan), sophomore Wes Horton (Columbus/Thomas Worthington), junior Evan Miller (Wooster), and freshman Xavier Platt (Fredericktown) finished eighth.
