at NCAC championship

The Ohio Wesleyan distance medley relay team of sophomore Wes Horton (Columbus/Thomas Worthington), sophomore Trey Theobald (Archbold), sophomore Simon Leck (Toledo/St. Francis DeSales), and sophomore Preston Pethtel (Heath) recorded the Bishops' best finish during the first day of the North Coast Athletic Conference championship meet, hosted by DePauw University on Friday in Greencastle, Ind.

With 5 events completed, Wabash was leading the meet with 49 points to 43 for Denison.  DePauw was in third place with 39 points, followed by Wittenberg and Wooster (21), Oberlin (16), Ohio Wesleyan (4), and Kenyon (2).

The Bishop relay team finished sixth in 10:42.67.

The NCAC championship meet is scheduled to conclude on Saturday.
