Junior Mark Siriwanichkul (Bangkok, Thailand/St. Andrew International School), freshman Kobe Francis (Boca Raton, Fla./Spanish River), senior José Mancilla (San Luis Potosi, Mexico/Tecnologico de Monterrey), freshman Rainer Holl (Williamstown, W.Va.), and junior Jeremy Dao (Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam/Le Hong Phong) were double winners for Ohio Wesleyan in a non-conference win over Marietta on Thursday in Marietta.
Siriwanichkul and Mancilla defeated Evan Barker and Elijah Kuhl, 8-1, at No. 1 doubles. Siriwanichkul then downed Elivh Perez, 6-2, 6-1, at No. 1 singles, while Mancilla was a 6-3, 6-2 winner over Barker at No. 3 singles.
Francis and Holl teamed up for an 8-3 win over Perez and Spencer Hall at No. 2 doubles. Francis then posted a 7-6 (7-4), 6-3 win over Kuhl at No. 2 singles, and Holl blanked David Frazier, 6-0, 6-0, at No. 5 singles.
Dao and junior Elliot Spicer (Newark) completed the Bishop sweep of doubles play with a 8-0 decision over George Fazah and Frazier. Dao then posted a 6-0, 6-0 win over Fazah at No. 6 singles.
