Senior José Mancilla (San Luis Potosi, Mexico/Tecnologico de Monterrey) won for Ohio Wesleyan in the Bishops' North Coast Athletic Conference opener against 17th-ranked Kenyon on Saturday in Gambier.

Mancilla, playing at No. 4 singles, defeated Subhan Bin Salik by scores of 6-1, 7-6 (8-6).

At No. 1 singles, junior Mark Siriwanichkul (Bangkok, Thailand/St. Andrew International School) dropped a 6-2, 7-5 decision to Eliezer Gonzalez.

In doubles play, Mancilla and Siriwanichkul lost to the regionally-ranked duo of Luis Andres Platas and Eric Zhang, 8-2.
