Ohio Wesleyan 5, Wittenberg 4
Junior Mark Siriwanichkul (Bangkok, Thailand/St. Andrew International School) and freshman Rainer Holl (Williamstown, W.Va.) were double winners for Ohio Wesleyan as the Bishops edged Wittenberg in a North Coast Athletic Conference match on Wednesday at the Luttinger Family Tennis Center.
Siriwanichkul teamed up with senior José Mancilla (San Luis Potosi, Mexico/Tecnologico de Monterrey) for an 8-4 win over Ethan Libby and Jake Stockhausen at No. 1 doubles. Siriwanichkul then handed Joe Patton a 6-4, 6-2 setback at No. 1 singles.
Holl and junior Elliot Spicer (Newark) combined for an 8-6 win over Derek Stinefield and Mark Trinka at No. 3 doubles. Holl then downed Stinefield, 6-0, 6-1, at No. 6 singles.
At No. 2 singles, freshman Kobe Francis (Boca Raton, Fla./Spanish River) posted a 7-6 (7-4), 4-6, 6-4 decision over Libby.
