Ohio Wesleyan defeated Wabash in a North Coast Athletic Conference matchup on Tuesday at Selby Stadium.
Ohio Wesleyan's offense was clicking on all cylinders. The Battling Bishops came out firing, starting the game on a 6-0 run, with all 6 goals coming within the first 8 minutes of play. Ohio Wesleyan held a 10-goal lead at the end of one.
Freshman attacker Xander Craven (Franklinville, N.C./Greensboro Day School) scored 3 goals in the first. Senior attacker Vincent Leonardi (Hicksville, N.Y.), and freshman attacker Will Siegenthaler (Elmhurst, Ill./York) chipped in, tallying 2 goals apiece in the first period.
In the beginning of the second half, the Battling Bishops extended their lead to 18 thanks to an unassisted goal by junior midfielder Cooper Braet (Columbus/Upper Arlington).

The Battling Bishops look to move to 6-1 in conference play on Thursday, when they take on Hiram at Selby Stadium in a game rescheduled from April 19.
