The Ohio Wesleyan men's tennis team was sidelined by 17th-ranked Kenyon in a quarterfinal match of the North Coast Athletic Conference tournament on Friday in Greencastle, Ind.

The match was played to decision.

The Owls swept doubles play, with the regionally ranked duo of Eliezer Gonzalez and Paulo Pocasangre defeating senior José Mancilla (San Luis Potosi, Mexico/Tecnologico de Monterrey) and junior Mark Siriwanichkul by a count of 8-3 at No. 1, the No. 2 pair of Rishil Kondapaneni and Luis Andres Platas downing junior Marcelo Aguilar (Columbus/Olentangy Liberty) and freshman Kobe Francis (Boca Raton, Fla./Spanish River) by a score of 8-2, and the team of Christopher Leblanc and Eric Zhang taking an 8-0 decision from freshman Rainer Holl (Williamstown, W.Va.) and junior Elliot Spicer (Newark) at No. 3.

In singles play, Aguilar lost to Zhang, 6-0, 6-1, at No. 3 and Holl lost a 6-0, 6-0 decision to Leblanc at No. 6.
