Box Score
Ohio Wesleyan 20, DePauw 6

Freshman attacker Will Siegenthaler (Elmhurst, Ill./York) scored back-to-back goals to kick off a 15-0 run that sent Ohio Wesleyan past DePauw in a North Coast Athletic Conference contest on Saturday in Greencastle, Ind.

The Ohio Wesleyan win, combined with Denison's 29-2 win over Wabash, leaves Ohio Wesleyan, Denison, and Kenyon tied for the NCAC championship, each with a record of 7-1 in conference play.  The conference championship is Ohio Wesleyan's first since the 2018 season.

Siegenthaler set up sophomore attacker Spencer Amacher (Blacksburg, Va./Blue Ridge School) on a goal just over a minute into the game, but the Tigers answered with scores by Eli Federman and Jack Kneisley to take a 2-1 lead.

Siegenthaler scored midway through the opening quarter, then followed with a goal to put the Bishops ahead to stay, before freshman midfielder Noah Citek (Long Beach, Calif./St. John Bosco) scored off the ensuing face-off.  Amacher added 3 more goals during the first period and sophomore midfielder Joey Wiseman (Powell/Olentangy Liberty) contributed a goal and an assist to help Ohio Wesleyan take a 9-2 lead at the end of the quarter.

Freshman attacker Garrett Smith (Fishers, Ind./Hamilton Southeastern) had a goal and an assist during the second period, and Siegenthaler opened the third quarter with consecutive goals that extended the margin to 15-2.  Sophomore attacker Finn Maguire (Dedham, Mass./Xaverian Brothers) contributed a pair of goals during the fourth period.

Amacher led the Bishops with 5 goals, while Siegenthaler finished with 4 goals and an assist.  Sophomore Nathan George (Gainesville, Va./Battlefield) recorded 1 save during the first 36-plus minutes of play, while junior Paddy Colligan (Greenwich, Conn.) and senior George Whitney (Marion, Mass./Tabor Academy) had 2 saves apiece and senior Carl Mazabras (New Canaan, Conn.) also saw action in the Bishop crease.
