8th of 8 at NCAC championship

Sophomore Trey Theobald (Archbold) won All-North Coast Athletic Conference honors during the second day of the NCAC championship meet, hosted by Ohio Wesleyan on Saturday at the George Gauthier Track and Selby Stadium.

Denison won the meet with 162 points to 129 for Wabash.  Oberlin finished third with 118 points, followed by Wittenberg (114), DePauw (105), Wooster (97½), Kenyon (58), and Ohio Wesleyan (34½).

Theobald finished second in the javelin with a throw of 183-8.

Theobald also ran on both Bishop relay teams, combining with junior Dylan Liggett (Medina/Highland), sophomore Trey Good (Marysville/Fairbanks), and freshman Joaquim Bila (Westbrook, Maine/North Yarmouth Academy) for a sixth-place finish in the 400-meter relay, and joining forces with senior Jacob Bauer (Hilliard/Davidson), freshman Jake Marzulli (Medina), and sophomore Mason Myers (Perrysville/Hillsdale) to finish seventh in the 1600-meter relay.
