Senior midfielder Megan Knee (San Diego, Calif./Mt. Carmel) and junior midfielder Zoë Nelson (Frederick, Md./Urbana) scored first-half goals that staked Ohio Wesleyan to a 2-0 lead, and the Bishops went on to defeat Juniata in a non-conference matchup on Friday in Huntingdon, Pa.

Knee scored just over 2 minutes into the game, and Nelson followed up with a goal midway through the second quarter to make it 2-0.

The Eagles closed to within 2-1 on Sydney Witter's goal just over 2 minutes into the third quarter, but the Ohio Wesleyan defense clamped down and did not allow Juniata another shot during the remainder of the contest.

Ohio Wesleyan outshot Juniata, 12-2.  Junior Brynn Schlesinger (Arnold, Md./Broadneck) recorded 1 save during the first half and junior Meg McCarthy (Trumbull, Conn.) played the second half in the Bishop cage.
