Freshman forward Mattison Hyland (Broadheadsville, Pa./Pleasant Valley) tallied Ohio Wesleyan's first 2 goals and the Bishops went on to win their fifth game in as many outings with a non-conference nod over Houghton on Saturday in Houghton, N.Y.

After a scoreless first half, the Bishops took the lead with 2:36 remaining in the third period when Hyland scored after a penalty corner, with senior midfielder Megan Knee (San Diego, Calif.) credited with an assist on the play.

Hyland rang up an unassisted goal midway through the fourth quarter to increase the margin to 2-0.

Sophomore midfielder Alyssa Markell (Leesburg, Va./Loudoun County) wrapped up the day's scoring with a goal off a penalty corner in the 56th minute.  Freshman midfielder Grace Ammon (Southborough, Mass./Algonquin Regional) was credited with an assist on the play.

Ohio Wesleyan outshot Houghton, 19-1.  Junior Brynn Schlesinger (Arnold, Md./Broadneck) posted the shutout in the Bishop cage.
