The Bishops took the lead midway through the third quarter after a penalty corner. Senior forward Allie Crawford (West Hartford, Conn./Hall) injected the ball to freshman midfielder Grace Ammon (Southborough, Mass./Algonquin Regional), who launched a shot from the top of the circle that found its way through the defense and into the cage.
Ohio Wesleyan pulled away during the fourth period, with Danley ringing up her first goal of the evening just 38 seconds into the quarter. After a penalty corner, Danley took a shot from the middle that Lydon stopped. The rebound rolled over to freshman forward Mattison Hyland (Broadheadsville, Pa./Pleasant Valley), who passed across to junior midfielder Zoë Nelson (Frederick, Md./Urbana) near the left post. Nelson sent the ball back across to the right side, but the play was broken up by a Kenyon defender and Danley knocked in the loose ball at the 45:38 mark.
Danley made it 3-0 midway through the quarter. After a penalty corner, Ammon's initial shot was blocked and Hyland's follow shot was stopped by Scott before Danley put the loose ball into the cage with 8:38 remaining in regulation time.
The Bishops closed out the scoring with 1:45 remaining after another corner. Sophomore midfielder Alyssa Markell (Leesburg, Va./Loudoun County) fired a shot that Lydon stopped, and freshman defender Kim Kirkpatrick (Bethesda, Md./Holy Child) knocked down the rebound and tapped it into the cage.
