4th of 5 at Kenyon Relays
Sophomore Ian Sander (Pemberville/Eastwood) and junior Graham Mayberry (Granville) helped relay teams post Ohio Wesleyan's top 3 finishes at the Kenyon Relays meet, hosted by Kenyon College on Saturday in Gambier.
Kenyon won the meet with 119 points to 79 for Case Reserve. Wooster was third with 70 points, followed by Ohio Wesleyan (43) and Wittenberg (32).
Sander and Mayberry combined with sophomore C.J. Abahazi (Delaware/Hayes) and sophomore Alex Tovtyn (Allenstown, N.H./Pinkerton Academy) for a fifth-place finish in the 200 breaststroke relay in 1:54.22, teamed with freshman Henry Gaudet (Littleton, Colo./Heritage) and sophomore Nathan Ambler (Columbus/Worthington Kilbourne) in a fifth-place showing in the 400 IM relay in 3:49.81, and joined forces with junior Evan Lucas (Cincinnati/Loveland) and Gaudet to finish sixth in the 200 butterfly relay in 1:38.38.
The Bishop 200 freestyle relay team of Tovtyn, Lucas, Sander, and Gaudet finished eighth in 1:31.64.
