Men's Cross Country Forecast to Finish Eighth at NCAC Meet

The Ohio Wesleyan men's cross country team was predicted to finish eighth and Oberlin was selected as the favorite to win the 2024 North Coast Athletic Conference championship based on pre-championship balloting by league coaches.

The 2024 NCAC cross country championships will be hosted by DePauw University on Sunday at LaVern Gibson Championship Course in Terre Haute, Ind.  The women's 6000-meter race is scheduled to begin at 11 a.m., followed by the men's 8000-meter race at 12:15 p.m.

Oberlin, the 2023 runner-up, received 4 first-place votes and 72 total points in the poll, while Wittenberg received 4 first-place votes and finished second with 71 points.  DePauw finished third with 66 points, and defending champion Wabash received the final first-place vote and was fourth with 53 points, followed by Kenyon (48), Wooster (41), Denison (27), Ohio Wesleyan (18), and Hiram (9).
