Ohio Wesleyan 113, Heidelberg 35

Junior Graham Mayberry (Urbandale, Iowa/Granville (Ohio)), junior Evan Lucas (Cincinnati/Loveland), and sophomore Ian Sander (Pemberville/Eastwood) won 2 events apiece for Ohio Wesleyan to lead the Bishops past Heidelberg in a dual meet on Friday in Tiffin.

Mayberry won the 200 freestyle in 1:51.62 and the 200 backstroke in 2:06.15.

Lucas won the 50 and 100 freestyle events in respective times of :23.23 and :51.25.

Sander won the 400 IM in 4:31.65 and the 200 breaststroke in 2:18.70.

Also winning events for Ohio Wesleyan were freshman Henry Gaudet (Littleton, Colo./Heritage), who won the 100 butterfly in :56.38 and finished second in the 200 freestyle; and sophomore Alex Tovtyn (Allenstown, N.H./Pinkerton Academy), who won the 500 freestyle in 5:24.09 and placed second in the 400 IM.

Other standouts for the Bishops included sophomore Nathan Ambler (Columbus/Worthington Kilbourne), who finished second in the 50 freestyle and the 200 backstroke; and sophomore C.J. Abahazi (Delaware/Hayes), who was third in the 50 freestyle.

The Ohio Wesleyan 400 freestyle relay team of Tovtyn, Abahazi, Gaudet, and Mayberry won its event in 3:25.65.
