Baldwin Wallace 114, Ohio Wesleyan 104

Junior Graham Mayberry (Granville) won 2 events and helped a relay team to a win to lead Ohio Wesleyan in a non-conference dual meet against Baldwin Wallace on Saturday in Berea.

Mayberry won the 50 freestyle in :22.28 and the 100 backstroke in :54.52.  He also combined with freshman Henry Gaudet (Littleton, Colo./Heritage), sophomore Nathan Ambler (Columbus/Worthington Kilbourne), and sophomore Ian Sander (Pemberville/Eastwood) to win the 400 freestyle relay in 3:18.54.

Also winning events for Ohio Wesleyan were sophomore Alex Tovtyn (Allenstown, N.H./Pinkerton Academy), who won the 1000 freestyle in 11:05.43 and added a second in the 100 breaststroke; Ambler, who won the 200 freestyle in 1:51.67 and placed second in the 500 freestyle; junior Evan Lucas (Cincinnati/Loveland), who won the 100 butterfly in :55.35 and was second in the 200 freestyle; and sophomore C.J. Abahazi (Delaware/Hayes), who won the 100 breaststroke in 1:05.45 and placed second in the 100 freestyle.

Other standouts for the Bishops included Gaudet, who was second in the 50 freestyle and the 100 butterfly; and Sander, who finished second in the 200 IM and third in the 100 freestyle.
