Schipfer, Kuether Named to NCAC All-Decade Women's Basketball Team

A total of 2 current and former Ohio Wesleyan standouts were named to the North Coast Athletic Conference's 40th Anniversary All-Decade women's basketball team, it was announced by the NCAC.

The 40th Anniversary All-Decade team includes the 2013-23 seasons.  Student-athletes who competed in the NCAC between the 2013-14 and the 2022-23 women's basketball seasons and earned Player of the Year honors, or who earned a minimum of 3 All-NCAC first-team nods during this time, were named to the team.

Guard Megan Kuether (Osgood/Marion Local) and senior guard Kasey Schipfer (Mechanicsburg) were recognized.

Kuether was the Player of the Year during the 2016-17 and a 2-time, first-team All-NCAC choice.

Schipfer was the Offensive Player of the Year and Defensive Player of the Year during the 2022-23 season as well as a 2-time All-NCAC selection.

The NCAC is celebrating its 40th playing season by selecting All-Decade teams in all 23 championship sports.  Players from the first 10 years of play were selected in 1993-94, while players who competed from 1993-2002 were named to the 20th Anniversary All-Decade team and players from 2003-12 were selected to the 30th Anniversary All-Decade team.
