Ohio Wesleyan University junior Wes Silver (Newton, Mass./Newton North) has been named to the United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association's Division III Team of the Week for the week of March 11, it was announced today by the USILA.

Silver, a defenseman, caused 2 turnovers and picked up 2 ground balls to help protect the lead after Ohio Wesleyan had taken a 10-9 lead midway through the fourth quarter of the Bishops' 10-9 win at John Carroll.  Silver finished the game with 5 caused turnovers and 4 ground balls.  Earlier in the week, Silver had 7 ground balls and caused 4 turnovers in a 14-3 win over St. Vincent.  Silver is tied for ninth among NCAA Division III players in caused turnovers (20) and caused turnovers per game (4.0).
