Senior shortstop Rylee Anspach (Dublin/Coffman) crushed a walk-off, 2-run double to cap a 3-run rally in the bottom of the seventh that lifted Ohio Wesleyan over North Park in non-conference action on Friday in Clermont, Fla.

In Friday's second game, Anspach smashed a pair of run-scoring triples during a 12-run second inning that propelled the Bishops past Curry.

North Park had taken a 1-0 lead on an RBI double by Kathryn Keehn in the second, then saw Keehn single in a run during a 2-run fourth that gave the Vikings a 3-0 lead.

Ohio Wesleyan had its first 4 batters reach base in the bottom of the inning, getting singles from freshman outfielder Chameron Vanden Eynden (Goshen), junior outfielder Avery Panozzo (Denver, Colo./Mullen), and senior second baseman Sophia Cegledy (Pataskala/Bishop Hartley) before Vanden Eynden scored on a throwing error.  Anspach followed with an RBI double, and after freshman catcher Jessie Spurling (Lancaster) plated a run with a sacrifice fly, senior outfielder Rylie Moore (Noblesville, Ind.) doubled in a run to give the Bishops the lead.

The Vikings retook the lead with 4 runs in the sixth, capped by Kayla Lorenz's 2-run single that gave North Park a 7-5 lead.

With 2 down in the bottom of the seventh, Vanden Eynden singled through the left side and moved to second on a single by Panozzo.  Junior shortstop McKenna Tuttle (Richmond, Ky./Model Laboratory School) followed with a single to score Vanden Eynden, with the runners moving to second and third on the throw.  Anspach then doubled to left center, scoring both runners, to give the Bishops the win.

Vanden Eynden went 3-for-4, Panozzo was 2-for-3, and Anspach went 2-for-4 with 3 RBI.  Junior righthander Kaelyn Rodriguez (South El Monte, Calif.), who came on in relief to start the seventh inning, was the winning pitcher.

Curry jumped to a 2-0 lead in the first inning on a 2-run single by Nina Covino.

Cegledy reached on an error to open the top of the second, and Anspach followed with a triple to score Cegledy.  After Spurling and Moore were hit by pitches, senior third baseman Alyssa Back (Newark) delivered a bases-loaded single, Panozzo singled in 2 runs, and Cegledy followed with an RBI single before Anspach belted a 2-run triple.  Moore had an RBI single later in the inning and Back finished off the inning's scoring with an RBI single.

Anspach lined a run-scoring double in the third and drove in a run with a bases-loaded walk in the fourth.  Anspach was 3-for-3 with 5 RBI and 2 runs scored in the game.  Back and Cegledy each went 2-for-3.

Rodriguez pitched the complete game, scattering 5 hits.
