Sophomore Benjamin Blaumeiser (Kettering/Fairmont) posted Ohio Wesleyan's best individual finish during the first day of the Dr. Jack M. Toms Alumni Invitational, hosted by the University of Lynchburg on Friday in Lynchburg, Va.

The meet was not scored.

Blaumeiser finished 10th in the 5000-meter run in 15:32.55.

Junior Wes Horton (Columbus/Worthington Kilbourne) also competed in the 5000-meter run, finishing 13th.

The Dr. Jack M. Toms Alumni Invitational is scheduled to conclude on Saturday.
