at Tiffelberg Open

Sophomore Benjamin Blaumeiser (Kettering/Fairmont) recorded Ohio Wesleyan's best individual finish at the Tiffelberg Open, hosted by Tiffin University and Heidelberg University on Saturday in Tiffin.

The meet was not scored.

Blaumeiser finished second in the 800-meter run in 1:56.16.

Other standouts for the Bishops included freshman Dylan Harper (Marysville), who finished third in the high jump; freshman Connor Smith (Marysville), who placed fourth in the long jump and eighth in the 200-meter dash; freshman Alex Bzdafka (Solon), who finished fourth in the pole vault; junior Trey Theobald (Archbold), who placed sixth in the javelin; and sophomore Mack Fincham (Springfield/Kenton Ridge), who was seventh in the pole vault and eighth in the 110-meter hurdles.

The Ohio Wesleyan 1600-meter relay team of junior Mason Myers (Perrysville/Hillsdale), senior Jacob Bauer (Hilliard/Davidson), Blaumeiser, and sophomore Jake Marzulli (Medina) was fourth, while the 400-meter relay team of senior Dylan Liggett (Medina), Smith, sophomore Joaquim Bila (Westbrook, Maine/North Yarmouth Academy), and freshman Joel Adade (Columbus/Beechcroft)
placed sixth.
