Senior attacker Nicole Klabus (Delaware/Hayes) scored to break a 6-6 tie and start a 3-0 run that sent Ohio Wesleyan on its way to a non-conference win over Washington & Jefferson on Saturday in Washington, Pa.

Klabus had tallied a pair of second-quarter scores to help the Bishops take a 6-3 lead at the half, but the Presidents came back with scores from Caleigh Bogats, Aisa Uhler, and Emily Heck to knot the game at 6 midway through the third quarter.

Klabus converted an 8-meter shot at the 5:06 mark of the period, and sophomore midfielder Tiffany Trinh (Dublin/Scioto) and senior attacker Samantha Diaz (Los Angeles, Calif./Compton Early College) followed with scores for a 9-6 Ohio Wesleyan lead early in the period.

The Presidents rallied with goals from Sofia Jenkins and Ella Holland scored just 12 seconds apart to pull within 10-9 with 3:44 to go, but senior midfielder Sophia DelGallo (Braintree, Mass.) iced the game for the Bishops, first with a goal at the 2:03 mark, then slamming the door by converting an 8-meter shot during the final seconds.

Klabus led the Bishops with 3 goals, while DelGallo added 2 goals and an assist.  Freshman Grace Lilly (Granville) made 3 saves during the first half and junior Abby Markowitz (Las Vegas, Nev./Somerset Academy) stopped 1 shot during the second half.
