Thinclads Compete at First Day of All-Ohio Meet

Freshman Dylan Harper (Marysville), freshman Joel Adade (Columbus/Beechcroft), freshman Michael Strange (High Bridge, N.J./Voorhees), and sophomore Mack Fincham (Springfield/Kenton Ridge) qualified for finals during the first day of the All-Ohio championship meet, hosted by Ohio Wesleyan on Friday at Selby Stadium and the George Gauthier Track.

Otterbein was leading the meet with 41 points to 18 for Wooster.  Muskingum was in third place with 6 points, followed by Ohio Northern and Oberlin (4), Case Reserve (3), and Kenyon (2).

Harper advanced to the finals in the 110-meter hurdles, winning his heat in :15.13 and turning in the day's second-fastest time.

Adade moved on to the finals of the 100-meter dash with the fifth-best time of the meet at :10.99.

Strange turned in the seventh-fastest time, an :11.19, and moved on to the finals of the 100-meter dash.

Fincham had the eighth-fastest time in the 110-meter hurdles, a :15.84, and advanced to Saturday's final.

The All-Ohio championship is scheduled to conclude on Saturday.
