7th of 7 at Duane Gomez Invitational

Junior Trey Theobald (Archbold) won an event for Ohio Wesleyan at the Duane Gomez Invitational, hosted by Kenyon College on Saturday in Gambier.

Kenyon won the meet with 142 points to 134 for Wittenberg.  Wooster was third with 116 points, followed by Denison (85½), Mount Vernon Nazarene (68), Muskingum (61½), and Ohio Wesleyan (25).

Theobald won the javelin with a throw of 177-1.

Other standouts for the Bishops included sophomore Joaquim Bila (Westbrook, Maine/North Yarmouth Academy), who was third in the 100-meter dash and eighth in the 200-meter dash; junior Coleman Kegler (Columbus/Upper Arlington), who placed third in the javelin; and senior Antonio Sonego (Medina), who was eighth in the discus.
