Six Named to NCAC All-Decade Men's Lacrosse Team

A total of 6 former Ohio Wesleyan standouts were named to the North Coast Athletic Conference's 40th Anniversary All-Decade men's lacrosse team, it was announced by the NCAC.

The 40th Anniversary All-Decade team includes the 2014-23 seasons.  Student-athletes who competed in the NCAC between the 2013-14 and the 2022-23 men's lacrosse seasons and earned Player of the Year honors, or who earned a minimum of 3 All-NCAC first-team nods during this time, were named to the team.

Zach Brasser (Westport, Conn./Millbrook (N.Y.) School), Marcus Dietz (Westerville/St. Francis DeSales), Peter Hamblett (Portsmouth, N.H.), Luke Leyden (Northfield, Mass./Northfield Mt. Hermon), Ryan McMahon (Springfield, Va./The Bullis School), and Max Tennant (Englewood, Colo./Cherry Creek) were recognized.

Brasser was the 2021 Defensive Player of the Year.

Dietz was the 2015 Offensive Player of the Year.  He was a 2-time All-NCAC selection and was the 2015 Newcomer of the Year.

Hamblett was the 2018 Defensive Player of the year.  He was a 2-time all-conference pick.

Leyden was a 3-time, first-team All-NCAC honoree and a 4-time all-conference choice.

McMahon was the 2015 Defensive Player of the Year and a 2-time All-NCAC honoree.

Tennant was the 2019 Offensive Player of the Year.  He was a 3-time, first-team All-NCAC selection, a 4-time all-conference pick, and the 2016 Newcomer of the Year.

The NCAC is celebrating its 40th playing season by selecting All-Decade teams in all 23 championship sports.  Players from the first 10 years of play were selected in 1993-94, while players who competed from 1994-2003 were named to the 20th Anniversary All-Decade team and players from 2004-13 were selected to the 30th Anniversary All-Decade team.
