Junior outfielder Sammy Stoner (Dublin/Jerome) had a pair of hits for Ohio Wesleyan, but Kenyon shut out the Bishops in a non-conference meeting between North Coast Athletic Conference rivals on Sunday at Littick Field.

The Owls jumped to a 3-0 lead in the second inning on an RBI single by Ben Zimmerman and a 2-run single from Ben Nash.

Kenyon struck for 5 runs in the fifth, collecting 2-run singles from Malcolm Gaynor and Nash, and added 2 more runs in the eighth on a 2-run homer by Parker Gibbons.

Stoner was 2-for-3 for the Bishops.  Senior righthander Josh Ferreira (Raynham, Mass./Portsmouth Abbey (R.I.)) was the starting and losing pitcher for Ohio Wesleyan.
