at Mount Union Last Chance Meet

Junior Trey Theobald (Archbold) won an event while representing Ohio Wesleyan during the second day of the Mount Union Last Chance meet, hosted by the University of Mount Union on Thursday in Alliance.

The meet was not scored.

Theobald won the javelin with a throw of 192-4.

Freshman Michael Strange (High Bridge, N.J./Voorhees) placed second in the decathlon with a score of 5990.  Strange had the meet's best performances in the 100-meter dash (:11.24), javelin (136-7), and 1500-meter run (4:54.85), and collected 726 points in the 400-meter dash (:51.98) and 743 more in the 110-meter hurdles (:15.91).

Also representing the Bishops were sophomore Benjamin Blaumeiser (Kettering/Fairmont), who was seventh in the 1500-meter run in 3:59.53; and senior Antonio Sonego (Medina), who placed 10th in the discus with a throw of 144-4.
