Junior midfielder Olivia Danley (Del Rio, Texas/Independence (Va.)) scored 2 goals during the second half to lead Ohio Wesleyan over Marian in a 4-0 win on Sunday at Selby Stadium.

After a scoreless first quarter of play, freshman forward Mary Powers (Centreville, Va./Chantilly) was able to put the Bishops on the board.  Sophomore forward Brogan Heilig (Monroeville, N.J./Saint Joseph Academy) sent a pass into the center of the circle where Powers collected it to finish.

Sophomore forward Mattison Hyland (Brodheadsville, Pa./Pleasant Valley) doubled the Bishops' lead in the third quarter after collecting a loose ball in the circle and sending it into the right side of the net.

As the third quarter ended, the Bishops received a penalty stoke which Danley stepped up to take with ease, making the score 3-0.

The final goal came with just under 10 minutes remaining when Danley once again found herself with the ball. The shot came from a distance after a short run up the middle situated her in a perfect position to add to the score.

The Bishops outshot the Sabres, 28-1. Ohio Wesleyan's defense held it down, not allowing a single shot during the first half of play.

Danley led the scoring efforts with 9 shots.  Sophomore midfielder Grace Ammon (Southborough, Mass./Algonquin Regional), junior forward Emma Wright (Marlton, N.J./Cherokee), and Powers each added 3.

Senior goalkeeper Brynn Schlesinger (Arnold, Md./Broadneck) made 1 save between the posts while Marians' Emilee Clarey made 11.
