Ohio Wesleyan 7, Mount Union 0

Sophomore Gabe Fogle (Delaware/Hayes), junior Kobe Francis (Boca Raton, Fla./Spanish River), junior Rainer Holl (Williamstown, W.Va.), freshman Ian Tsai (Taiwai, Taipei/Yang Ming), sophomore Max Jody (Loveland), and freshman Marcus Bode (Powell/Olentangy Liberty) were double winners for Ohio Wesleyan in a non-conference win over Mount Union in the Bishops' season opener on Sunday in Alliance.

Fogle and Tsai posted a 6-2 win over Andrew Cavett and Elliott Warner at No. 1 doubles.  Fogle then defeated Warner, 7-6 (7-5), 6-2, at No. 1 singles, while Tsai was a 6-1, 6-1 winner at No. 4 singles.

At No. 2 doubles, Bode and Francis recorded a 6-2 win before Bode defeated Noah Fink, 6-1, 6-1, at No. 6 singles and Francis downed Cavett, 6-1, 7-5, at No. 2 singles.

Holl and Jody downed Fink and Evan Fisher, 6-1, at No. 3 doubles.  Holl outlasted Sziraky, 6-3, 4-6, 6-1, at No. 3 singles, and Jody knocked off Fisher by scores of 6-3, 6-0 at No. 5 singles.
