Sophomore August Lemert (Granville) won 2 events for Ohio Wesleyan in a double-dual meet against Ohio Northern and Bluffton on Friday in Lima, Ohio.

Lemert won the 200 and 500 freestyle events in respective times of 2:04.98 and 5:44.72.

Also winning events for Ohio Wesleyan were freshman Anna Lance (Delaware/Hayes), who won the 100 backstroke in 1:06.51 and placed second in the 50 butterfly and fourth in the 200 freestyle; and senior Brooke Parker (Etna/Pataskala Watkins Memorial), who won the 50 butterfly in :28.24 and finished second in the 100 butterfly and fifth in the 100 backstroke.

Other standouts for the Bishops included senior Lily Davis (Dayton/Chaminade Julienne), who was second in the 50 and 100 backstroke events and fifth in the 50 butterfly; senior A.J. Johnson (Sutton, Neb.), who placed second in the second 1-meter diving event and third in the first 1-meter diving event; senior Josephine Stark (Sandusky/Castalia Margaretta), who finished third in the 100 breaststroke and the 400 IM; junior Frannie Rhine (Cleveland/Lyndhurst Brush), who finished third in the 500 freestyle, fourth in the 50 freestyle, and fifth in the 50 backstroke; freshman Lillian Borofsky (Easton, Conn./Trumbull), who was third in the 1000 freestyle and fourth in the 100 butterfly; sophomore Maria Thibodeaux (Cincinnati/Oak Hills), who was third in the 50 freestyle and fifth in the 100 breaststroke; freshman Emilie Ott (Upper Arlington/Dublin Coffman), who placed third in the second 1-meter diving event; junior Maddie Hoyt (Pataskala/Watkins Memorial), who was fourth in the 100 freestyle and fifth in the 400 IM; freshman Avery Hudak (Pickerington/North), who finished fifth in the 50 breaststroke and the 100 freestyle; and junior Bella Guzzetta (Boca Raton, Fla./Spanish River), who was fifth in the 50 freestyle.
