Denison 190, Ohio Wesleyan 45

Freshman Lillian Borofsky (Easton, Conn./Trumbull) and sophomore Maria Thibodeaux (Cincinnati/Oak Hills) stood out for Ohio Wesleyan in a dual meet against fourth-ranked Denison on Saturday in Granville.

Borofsky finished second in the 500 and 300 freestyle events.

Thibodeaux scored first-place points in the 200 IM, finishing in 2:34.63, and added fourth-place points in the 200 freestyle.

Other standouts for the Bishops included freshman Anna Lance (Delaware/Hayes), who was third in the 50 backstroke and fifth in the 50 butterfly; senior Brooke Parker (Etna/Pataskala Watkins Memorial), who placed fourth in the 50 backstroke; freshman Avery Hudak (Pickerington/North), who finished fourth in the 50 breaststroke; senior Lily Davis (Dayton/Chaminade Julienne), who was fifth in the 50 backstroke; senior Josephine Stark (Sandusky/Castalia Margaretta), who placed fifth in the 200 breaststroke; and senior A.J. Johnson (Sutton, Neb.), who was fifth in the 1-meter diving competition.
