Sophomore post Macy Miller (Marysville/Milford Center Fairbanks) posted a double-double as 14th/17th-ranked Ohio Wesleyan collected a 76-44 North Coast Athletic Conference win over Oberlin on Saturday at Branch Rickey Arena.

The visitors opened the game with back-to-back layups, but the early 4-point lead ended up being their largest of the game as the Bishops went on to dominate.  A pair of layups by fifth-year guard Kasey Schipfer (Mechanicsburg) and senior post Karlee Ross (Beverly/Fort Frye) in the paint, free throws from Miller and Schipfer, and 3-pointers from fifth-year guard Lauren Denison (Pataskala/Watkins Memorial) and senior guard Lauren Gerber (Worthington/Thomas Worthington) built up their lead 20-11 to end the first period.

Ohio Wesleyan continued to build up the score, leading by double digits for the rest of the game.  Fifth-year guard Elizabeth Homan (Cincinnati/Anderson) and Denison each sank a pair of 3-pointers in the second quarter to help keep the Bishops' advantage.  The Bishops went 8-for-8 on free throws in the first half with Schipfer, Miller, and junior guard Mia Guscoff (Canton/Massillon Perry) sinking them.

An 8-0 run kicked off the second half with points from Miller, Schipfer, and Denison to make the score 57-28.  Homan and senior guard Alayna McMullen (Canton/Massillon Jackson) scored the final points of the quarter to bring the Bishops to a 29-point lead.

Junior post Katie Neuhart (Delaware/Delaware Christian) subbed in to start the fourth and immediately scored back-to-back layups.  A layup and free throw from junior guard Alexandria Magers (Howard/East Knox) ended the game with the Bishops leading by 32 points.

Denison led the scoring efforts with 16 while Schipfer followed with 14.  Miller finished with 10 points, matched a career best with 15 rebounds, and led the Bishops with 5 assists.  Homan added 9 points and 4 assists of her own.
