Ohio Wesleyan opened the third quarter with a 5-0 run, with Ross compiling 3 goals and an assist during that burst, and when senior attacker Spencer Amacher (Blacksburg, Va./Blue Ridge School) and Geier scored goals during the final minute of the period, the Bishops held a 15-7 lead going into the final stanza.

Grove City assembled a 4-0 run to make things interesting during the fourth quarter, with a pair of Jayne scores bringing the Wolverines within 16-12 midway through the period, but Ohio Wesleyan got scores from Geier and Ross to nail down the win.

Ross led the Bishops with 5 goals and 2 assists, while Geier finished with 5 goals and 1 assist.
