Box Score
Ohio Wesleyan 86, Wooster 45

Sophomore post Macy Miller (Marysville/Milford Center Fairbanks) scored 6 points and fifth-year guard Lauren Denison (Pataskala/Watkins Memorial) had 5 more as Ohio Wesleyan opened the game with a 12-0 run and went on to a North Coast Atlantic Conference win over Wooster on Saturday in Wooster.

Miller opened the day's scoring with a lay-in and Denison followed with a 3-pointer before back-to-back hoops by Miller.  After a free throw from fifth-year point guard Elizabeth Homan (Cincinnati/Anderson), Denison scored on a fast-break lay-in to make it 12-0.

Wooster got on the board with a Mackenzie Riccitelli jumper and a 3-pointer by Ella Dean, but the Bishops reeled off 10 straight points, getting a pair of hoops apiece from fifth-year guard Kasey Schipfer (Mechanicsburg) and Homan along the way, and the margin would remain in double digits throughout the remainder of the game.

Miller finished with a career-high 25 points, going 12-for-17 from the field.

Schipfer was 8-for-9 from the field on the way to 16 points.  The 16 points moved Schipfer's career total to 2055 and into second place on the all-time NCAC list, passing Kim Huber of Allegheny, who scored 2053 points during the 1992-96 seasons.  The 8 field goals raised Schipfer's career total to 768, breaking the Ohio Wesleyan career mark of 761 set by Kelly Heil from 2001-05.

Homan scored 10 points and led the Bishops with 9 assists.  Senior post Karlee Ross (Beverly/Fort Frye) collected a team-best 5 rebounds.
